Vintage EPNS 3 piece carving set. VALUE: R915.
This is an Emess 3 piece silver plated carving set consisting of carving fork, carving knife and sharpening steel. Emess was a trade name used by a silverware manufacturer in Birmingham, England in the 1960’s.
Condition: Well used but strong with no dents. There is significant wear of the silver plate on all three items and the tines of the fork are marked. The set is stamped EPNS A and the stainless steel blade of the knife is stamped “EmEss mirror finish Sheffield England”
