Vintage Dutch EPNS repousse tea spoons. Pre owned in excellent condition. Value R900
This is a set of six spoons.
Each spoon has a Delft Blue hand painted Windmill scene on the losenge at the top of the handle.
The spoons are 11 cm long. It is stamped on the back “EPNS Made in Holland”.
The spoons are in excellent condition and have a different repousse Dutch scene impressed into the bowl of each spoon.
The presentation box is in poor condition due to age.
EPNS stands for Electro Plated Nickel Silver, a type of silver plating over a base metal.
Delft Blue is a traditional blue and white pottery made in the Netherlands.
The Windmill pattern is a classic Dutch design often seen in Delftware.
