Vintage Silver Jug. Pre owned in good used condition.
This silver jug with handle jug has a very small dent on the rim of the base but apart from this, it is in very good used condition.
There is some tarnishing to the inside of the jug.
It is an unusual and attractive piece and the maker’s marks are clearly stamped on the bottom.
The makers stamp is IMP which stands for Industrial Metal Products.
A Rhodesian company that manufactured silver plated products.
The H1 is comparable to the A1 stamp found on silver plated items describing the quality of the plating which would be good quality.
It is a tall slender jug with an elegantly scrolled handle well balanced for pouring from the spout.
There is a diamond pattern decoration around the ‘bowl’ of the jug.
