This Vintage gilded floral etched mother of pearl handle bread serving fork is a rare find.
The fork is gilded and has EPNS stamped on the back.
The handle has a beautifully embossed collar and the remainder of the handle is mother of pearl.
It is in excellent used condition with no dents or signs of repairs.
Measurements: 15cm long and 3.5cm at its widest.
Mother of pearl is an organic–inorganic composite material produced by some molluscs as an inner shell layer.
It is also the material of which pearls are composed.
It is strong, resilient and iridescent meaning it reflects beautiful rainbow colors.
