ANTIQUE COAL IRON WITH WOODEN HANDLE
This magnificent antique iron was made from cast iron and has a wooden handle.
It is in its original vintage condition with visible signs of previous use and time.
It has a weathered patina and has a lion head clasp to open the iron. It was made in Germany between 1920 – 1930.
It was used previously as a door stop or display item as it has a cork bottom to stop scratches.
A lovely ancient detail to add to your home.
