The set would be considered to be in “Used – Fair” condition.
This set of 11 (out of 12) “Tiny Animal Stories” published from the Tiny Golden Book collection” is 76 years old.
The set is a first edition, published by Simon & Schuster, New York in 1948.
The books measure 8cm X 5.5cm and have hard covers.
The Author is Dorothy Kunhardt and each book is beautifully Illustrated by Garth Williams.
The title missing from the collection is “Hop Hop little Kangaroo”. One of the books “Look out baby Bear, here he comes” has lost its cover.
Due to the age of these books, some of the spines are damaged, and some pages are detached. There are no pages missing.
A wonderful addition to any book or antique children’s book collection.
