This Green Colored  Round Alabaster Hinged Trinket Box was made in Italy. Vintage condition with small signs of aging.
Dimensions, height 5 cm, diameter 8cm, weight 290g.

Alabaster is a very precious stone material and available in different types, as seen above.

It is a natural product with a translucent finish and in Italy it is mainly extracted in Volterra but also in the Cuneo area, while foreign deposits are mostly found in Africa and Asia.
