Wilkins Micawber Character Yeoman Silver Plate Dinner Bell. Pre Owned. ValueR450
This character dinner bell was made of Yeoman silver plate in the first half of the 20th century.
It is mounted by a ceramic bust of Wilkins Micawber a character from Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield.
The base of the bell is stamped and the bell measures 15cm high x 8.5cm diameter.
Condition: The bell is in overall good condition.
The brim of Mr. Micawber’s hat has a slight chip and the silver plate is worn in places with a slight dent at the top.
