Vintage Darwin Universal Safety Razor, English Patent No.397334 Sheffield England, highly collectable and much sought after this is a great piece of vintage gent’s vanity shaving ware. It is understood that Darwin advertised this as the ‘Aristocrat of the Bathroom’. It was designed in 1933 and the British Patent was issued in 1934 – the USA patent in 1935. Made of cobalt steel which is known for its hardness.
The whole Razor set is complete and in excellent antique condition. It comes with a detailed instruction booklet and in its original box. The box, however, is in bad condition but with careful repair, it is useable.
