Vintage Silver Plated Oval Butter Dish. Pre owned in good condition. VALUE: R500
This is a vintage silver plated oval shaped butter dish with glass liner, the domed lid is original and fitted with a bun finial.
On the bottom is stamped “Made in England, Regis Plate, EPNS N278” and dates back to the Art Deco period.
This dish could also be used for caviar or condiments.
The butter dish and the glass lining are in excellent condition although a little tarnished and the base is silver plated with a floral decorations.
The dish measures 17cm x 13cm, the liner 11.5cm x 8cm, the dome 13cm x 9cm and the whole dish stands 7cm tall.
