Description
This is a Danish silver plated powder compact from the 1950’s. The lid is engraved with a map of Denmark showing principal cities. Other countries are not identified or engraved on the lid. Pre Owned. Value 675,00.
It measures 7.5cm in diameter. The base has an engine turned pattern.
The powder compact is in good vintage condition with minimal wear to the silver plate. It is, however, missing its powder sifter inner. It has a reflective mirror and the base has one pin sized ding. The hinged lid works but doesn’t close completely.
The edge is stamped HJ (Hans Jensen) and also NS.
