Rare Finstain Pewter Decorative Wall Plate Les Potstainiers Hutois. VALUE: R1000,00

An elegant decorative hand crafted pewter plate measuring 23cm in diameter and bearing all the original hallmarks of craftsman and manufacturer. Finstain pewter is made by Les Potstainiers Hutois, a Belgian company born in 1949. They met with great success at the Universal Expo of Brussels in 1958 and since that time their pewter-ware is distributed worldwide.

The pewter is heavy gauge guaranteed free of lead plate. There is a soldered hook on the back for hanging. Vintage from the 1970’s.

The plate is in very good condition. No dents or repairs. The plate is tarnished in a few places but this can be removed.
