Vintage Carlton Ware Rouge Royale bowl. Pre owned in good condition. Value R1200.
decorated in the ‘Heron & Magical Tree’ pattern on Rouge Royale background, c. 1946. It has an opalescent inside.
The piece has small, raised, colored enamel dots on the bottom of the vase and is initialed in red by the enameller.
It also has the original “Carlton” sticker, silver on black.
The condition of the vase on the outside is good, no chips or cracks or repairs.
The gilt edging is in good condition.
There are a few minor stain marks, as well as crazing on the inside, but overall, the vase is in good vintage condition.
The vase measures 9 cm tall and its diameter is 7 cm,
