German Stoneware Beer Stein. pre owned in good condition. value R1 000+
Calling all Trevor’s who will be having a 60th Birthday coming up!!
This vintage German beer stein from Austria has a pewter lid with a “five feather” style handle for opening.
The word “Trevor” is inscribed on the top of the lid. “95% Zinn” is etched onto the inside of the lid.
The Pewter has lost a bit of its lustre and has a few marks on it due to use. There are no chips or cracks on the stein itself.
The Stein is decorated with metallic silver painted scrolls framed in a loose leaf design.
There is a raised border outlined in blue on both the mug and the handle.
A pewter disk with the number 60 and the words “Herzlichen Gluckwunsch” which translated means “Congratulations” stuck onto the stein.
It is in excellent condition, measures 20cm in height, with a base diameter of 10.5cm, and width with handle is 14cm.
