Antique Duchess China Hand Painted Trinket Tray. pre owned in good condition. Value R400
This tray has a beautiful hand painted art deco design on it and is edged in gold. It is oblong in shape measuring 27cm x 13cm.
The gold edging has worn off in places but, overall, the tray is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
It was made in England in the early 20th Century. It is stamped on the back “Duchess China E&B.L. Made in England”. EB stands for Edward & Brown China manufacturers and L stands for Longton, the town where the factory was located.
