Attractive Vintage Murano style bowl

Vintage Murano-Style bowl. pre owned in excellent condition. Value R480

Vintage Murano-Style hand blown art glass red dish/ashtray. It has two underside moulded handles and a smooth pontil.
There are no chips or cracks. Some bottom scratches on the pontil due to use.
The bowl features the bullicante technique characterised by the controlled air bubbles within the glass.
It also has a freeform, organic shape with a wavy rim often referred to as the ‘ashtray’ design.
Pieces of this style were typically handmade in Italy during the 1960’s and 1970’s.
