Absolutely beautiful hand painted Imari Japan plate. Stamped & stickered on back. Pristine condition! Vintage from the 1950s. Off white main colour with blues and pinks in the Crysanthemum and netting design.
Sticker on the back of the platter reads-
“IMPERIAL IMARI”, A contemporary interpretation of a 16th century Imari porcelain in the imperial collection. This reproduction is by imperial permission in a limited collector’s series. Prof. Toshio Mitumura.
Previous owner glued a hook onto the back of the plate. Measurement: Diameter of plate – 32cm. Height from table – 3.5cm. Pre Owned.
