Rare Sterling silver 3 piece vanity set

Sterling  Silver 3 piece vanity set. Pre owned in good condition. Value R4 000.

This  fantastic antique English solid silver dressing table set, consist of a mirror, a hair brush and a clothes brush.  It is made by Daniel Manufacturing Company, registered makers of silver boxes & vanity sets.

The set is Art Deco with its beautiful engine turned  design, striking angles and geometry. The set is fully hallmarked and dated 1955.

Measurements: Mirror is 30 cm long and 11.5 cm wide. Clothes brush is  14.5 cm x 3.5 cm.

 The mirror is beautifully beveled and there are a few minor scratches on the surface.  The silver is slightly marked on the inner frame. 

The bristles on the brushes are in tact.

The whole set is in remarkably good condition with a few minor dents commensurate with age.
