About the 600 Club
"Alone we can do so little,
together we can do so much"
The 600 Club was started when Overstrand Hospice was first formed
so celebrate our 10th Anniversary with us by joining the 600 Club!
We do not charge for the services that we offer to our patients and their families.
Anyone referred to hospice by a doctor may receive palliative care from our team, irrespective of their financial means.
Overstrand Hospice receives no Government funding.
All the funds required to run our hospice have to be raised, thus fund-raising is vital for our sustainability.
For a monthly contribution of R50, or an annual donation of R600, you could stand a chance to win one of three cash prizes in the monthly draw
- first R5000, second R2500 and third R1000.
Donations may be paid via EFT, Debit Order, Cash or Cheque. (Debit Order is easy as it is transmitted by Hospice on a Bank Integrator System)
The running of the 600 Club is strictly monitored by independent auditors D.M. Adams.
Anyone is welcome to attend a monthly Club Draw.
Winners' names are published in the Hermanus Times, on our Facebook page and on this website.
Tickets may be bought in your own name, or using a non de plume, or in the name of a family member or friend as a gift.
Tickets are also bought by groups such as Book Clubs, Bridge Clubs and sports teams.
Membership is open to all.
